Guiding an Independent Registered Investment Advisory, Chris Conover is an active presence in the Greater New York City financial community. As president of the Hudson Companies (previously Hudson Valley Wealth Management), he delivers the levels of fine-tuned service often associated with institutional investors. Beyond asset management, Chris Conover performs due diligence for proposed client investments in areas such as startups and property markets.

Earning his MBA at Fordham University, Mr. Conover gained experience in the early 2000s as vice president, mutual fund sales and marketing, with International Assets Advisory Corp. He raised significant assets across retail products and managed the various stages of launching a new registered product. He also set in place selling agreements with outside partners and crafted compelling sales, marketing, and application materials aimed at investors.

Mr. Conover’s current client base spans individual portfolios, corporate retirement plans, and family trusts, and represents more than $100 million in assets under management. Working within clients’ risk tolerances, he assists clients in growing assets through a range of financial planning strategies.
